WHO WE ARE Adrian Community Theater is a non-profit all ages community theater program based in Adrian, MO. We put on 4-6 performances a year in the Bates County Area. All positions are volunteers, most of us have day jobs, and do theater on the side. Our team consists of 7 Board Members, and many volunteers ages 9-99. HOW WE GOT STARTED Back in 2011 Liberty Underwood’s daughter wanted to do theater but there were no theater groups in Bates/Cass County, not even at her daughters school. Liberty hadn’t done any theater, even in High School, but she created her own community theater group and called it Adrian Community Theater. She realized that others were looking for a creative outlet right in her own community as well. The first show was Murder at Sea, followed by two to three performances every year since. OUR MISSION To provide an outlet for creative community involvement, and to educate and entertain our community by providing a superior theater experience. You can help A.C.T. in our mission to provide a superior theater experience by becoming a member. Please see our Support page for information on becoming a supporting member of A.C.T. |
